Nestled in an empty corner of Scotland lies the beautiful Kagyu Samye Ling Buddhist Monastery and just along the road from there is one of the best civilian ranges in Europe.
The Club was able to join other experienced Target Shooters from around the UK to take shots out to 2600m. With Rifles ranging from 17HMR all the way up to 50BMG, all kinds of different calibers were pushed to their limits. The members that went on the trip were excited to put into practice their knowledge and experience, puling out the Ballistic Calculators and DOPE sheets to have a very exciting day of shooting. The Choreographing and reloading that had been done through the year came into play and a lot was learned on the trip.
Also, Scotland some amazingly beautiful views.
The Club has organised some great group trips to Krakow in the past, here are a few pictures of a handful of our members on a trip to a few of the best Gun ranges in Poland including Grot Gun in Poland. Having fired some very interesting Firearms, legal in Poland, the experience of different calibers in various actions was said to be very fun plinking and it was great to find out how those Firearms we all remember from icon TV and Movies functioned in real life.
The trip was very relaxed, including some sightseeing and enjoying the wonderful culture in Krakow, the Ranges the Club attended were very friendly and forthcoming with insights on the Firearms.
